Traveling north: follow Route 29 north toward Lynchburg, Virginia .  Follow 29 North Bypass around Lynchburg and part of Madison Heights .  This uses part of Route 460 east to get to the new 29 bypass.  You will see the exit for 29-north bypass off 460, after you pass the Jumbo Restaurant & a stop light.  Travel on this until you see the exit for Sweet Briar College and 29 south Business to Madison Heights .  Take this exit and travel toward the town of Amherst on north business 29.  Amherst High School is about one mile on the right.  Take the first entrance and the stadium is on your right.

Traveling south: follow Route 29 south toward Lynchburg, Virginia .  When you come to the exits of Amherst, Virginia use the exit for state route 60 as a marking point.  Stay on 29 south & travel approx. 2.5 miles, from the route 60 exit, take exit for 29-north business toward The town of Amherst .  As soon as the exit ramp ends, you turn right heading toward the town of Amherst .  Amherst High School is about one mile on the right.  Take the first entrance and the stadium is on your right. 

Traveling Interstate 81 south: From the north, you can take Interstate 64 to exit 99 onto route 250.  Travel on route 250 toward Charlottesville .  Travel approx. 4 miles and turn right onto route 151 east.  Follow the signs that take you toward Lynchburg, Virginia .  The quickest route will have you turning left onto state route 6, but staying on 151 will still get to route 29.   When you get to route 29 go south (right) on route 29 and follow directions traveling south above.

Traveling Interstate 81 north: from the south get on State Route 460 to Lynchburg, Va.    Stay on 460 east until you get to the 29 north bypass exit (not 29 north  business) see directions above for traveling north on Route 29.
